Allstate Insurance Company Appoints Executive to Southeast Region
November 2, 2011ATLANTA, GA – November 1, 2011 – Allstate Insurance Company recentlyannounced the appointment of William “Bill” Goff to field vicepresident, Southeast Region, which includes the states of Alabama,Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Goff served as fieldadministrative director for four Regions in Allstate’s South BusinessUnit prior to his new appointment.In Goff’s new role, he will focus ongrowth and profitability of the Southeast Region. This will comethrough strategic expansion of competitive auto segments while improvingreturns in Allstate’s property portfolio.
Goffbegan his career with Allstate in 1984 and has dedicated most of thattime in one of the company’s field underwriting and productorganizations. During his 27-year tenure with the company, he hasworked in the Chicago Metro, Milwaukee and New York Regional Offices. The regional offices where he had direct underwriting accountabilitiesreturned an underwriting profit every year.
Goff, a Huntington, N.Y., native, received his bachelor’s degree inCommunications from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University.
Prior to joining Allstate, Goff spent a brief time in radio broadcasting and operations management.
