Fowler Elected Chair, Leadership Development Committee, Charleston Regional Development Alliance

CHARLESTON, SC – July 14, 2011 –  Turner PadgetGraham & Laney, P.A. is pleased to announce that Elaine H. Fowlerhas been elected to serve as Chair of the Leadership DevelopmentCommittee of the Charleston Regional Development Alliance for FY2011-2012 and will be serving on the Executive Committee of CRDA asChair of that committee.  CRDA is a private nonprofit organization whosepurpose is to promote long-term economic development in Charleston,Berkeley and Dorchester Counties, and it works very closely with the SCDepartment of Commerce and industries being recruited to South Carolinain those efforts.  It’s work is supported by the financial commitmentsof local governments, educational institutions and diverse businesses inthe Charleston area, including the Turner Padget law firm.

Ms. Fowler is a resident in the Charleston office and is a member ofthe firm’s Business Transactions Group. In addition to devoting muchtime to her legal career, she is committed to service in her communityand, among other activities,  serves as a member of the Sullivan’sIsland Planning Commission and on the Board of the South Carolina BarFoundation.
