Walterboro Allstate Agent Receives AHIC Grant for Amateur Athletic Union

WALTERBORO, SC November 16, 2010 – Allstate Insurance Agent Timothy Hooks, whose office is located at 130 Bells Highway in Walterbobo, has received the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to volunteering in the community.  With this award came a $1,000 grant from The Allstate Foundation for Amateur Athletic Union of The United States, where Hooks volunteers. Hooks resides in Summerville, S.C.

Timothy is an active and respected member of the business community, said Allstate’s Southeast Region Assistant Field Vice President John O’Donnell. He also makes a point of getting involved personally by dedicating himself to making a difference in people’s lives.

Allstate believes that it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve.  Allstate is proud of Timothy and his efforts to support Amateur Athletic Union of The United States through the Allstate Foundation, concluded O’Donnell.
