Sophisticated Stones Outreach Presents “To India With Love Bazaar,” A Fundraiser

WHO: Sophisticated Stones Outreach (SSO) is a foundation founded by local jewelry designer Betty Holland of Sophisticated Stones jewelry in 2006. SSO raises funds to purchase much-needed school supplies, equipment and clothing for underprivileged school children in rural villages in India. Currently, SSO is assisting 3 schools in the village of Bodal, Northern India, and more schools are requesting help.
WHAT: The first annual To India with Love Bazaar is a shopping extravaganza to benefit Sophisticated Stones Outreach. Guests are invited to celebrate the vibrant culture of India with a night of Indian food, belly dancing lessons, and festive music and dancing while perusing Indian wares, dazzling jewelry, colorful clothing, home goods, and gifts. All goods will be coming directly from Betty Holland’s travels to India. With the money raised at the event, many more children will receive the tools they need to receive a proper education, which Holland sees as the door out of poverty.
