Alaina Coates Basketball Camp proceeds benefit The Salvation Army

WNBA Star Alaina Coates will be hosting her second annual Basketball Camp on March 30, 2019 at the Brookland Health and Wellness Center. The camp costs $30.00 per camper and all proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army of the Midlands. “We are so thankful to Alaina Coates for selecting The Salvation Army to be the recipient of the camp’s proceeds this year. She is truly helping us ‘Do the Most Good’ here in the Midlands,” said Major Henry Morris.
Alaina Coates, well known in the Columbia area for her time on the University of South Carolina Woman’s Basketball team, is now in the WNBA playing for the Chicago Sky. This year marks the second year of her basketball camp hosted back in her hometown.
The Alaina Coates Basketball Camp is for both boys and girls ages 5-12 and will take place from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday, March 30. Lunch will be provided for the campers. For more information, visit www.CoatesBasketballCamps.com.
