Can we be saved from our own stupidity?

All of us do stupid stuff, many of us daily.

Sadly, we don’t know it’s stupid until we blunder in and do it.

There are 3 solutions to stop us from doing stupid stuff. They cost little, unless we’re the kind of dimwits who won’t ask for sound advice or listen to reason.

1. Ask those you trust for their opinion. Share with them what you are considering and seek their candid advice.

2. Ask your colleagues and family what they think. If they say no, they should be able to give you good reasons. Heed them.

3. Form your own advisory board. As an entrepreneur and/or business owner, it may be your tax accountant, your lawyer, and someone whose experience and wisdom you have come to trust. Ask them to meet with you weekly, monthly or quarterly depending on how often you need their counsel for breakfast, lunch or dinner – on you. Plan to pay for their time. Accountants and lawyers bill by the hour.

One of the best ways to do this is to form a master mind group. Invite fellow entrepreneurs and/or business owners to join you in mutual problem solving sessions as often as seems necessary.

We show you how to do this in a new book, “Maverick Entrepreneurs’ Million Dollar Secrets.” It’s worth a million bucks, but you can get an autographed copy for only $20 by calling 803-359-7633.
