Spring Hill High School Careers Pathway Magnet cordially invites you to participate with our first Career & Job Fair on Friday, January 18, 2019, 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at 11629 Broad River Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
This event will host numerous employers/agencies to engage students interested in the same or similar career interests and promote summer jobs, internships, career opportunities and programs available in a variety of fields including the five academies: Engineering, Entertainment, Entrepreneurial, Exercise Science and Environmental.
There are many advantages to being a participating employer with this event. You may choose to actively recruit high school students or use this opportunity to connect and demonstrate your interest in hiring our future workforce by engaging and sharing your personal career pathway and the responsibilities as a professional. Advantages to participating with this fair,
• Introducing professional careers of interest leading to students choosing a career pathway.
• Students learn job skills needed to become successfully employed: communication, self-presentation, interviewing and networking.
• Develop relationships which could lead to internships, job shadows as well as part time student employment or full time following graduation.
In short, this event will bridge our future workforce with employers to promote awareness and value of job skills required to be successfully employed.

• 11:00 – 11:20 a.m. – Sign-in and set up
• 11:25 – 11:55 a.m. – Open fair by academy students career research and interviewing
• 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. – Open fair for all interested students career research and interviewing
