Caviar & Bananas’ leaders to speak at Endeavor’s March 2018 Collaborators & Cocktails Speaker Series

Furniss and Warnock to share how the brand grew from a concept to multiple locations with a cult following of customers in less than 10 years.
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Endeavor, a membership-based coworking community for creatives and corporate marketing teams, announces that Margaret Furniss and Ashley Warnock from the popular specialty market and café Caviar & Bananas will speak at its next Collaborators & Cocktails networking speaker series on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Furniss and Warnock, both with years of New York advertising agency experience, will share their unique story – from meeting as students at College of Charleston, living the big city agency life, the challenges of creating a “big” small business, and how they’ve used their formidable marketing and entrepreneurial skills to bring Furniss’ original vision to life and keep it growing through constant change.
Caviar & Bananas, celebrated for its distinctive culinary experience designed to captivate all the senses, started with one location in Charleston, S.C. in 2009, and has since grown to two more locations in Charleston, S.C., and one location each in Greenville, S.C. and Nashville, Tenn. Furniss, who co-owns and co-founded Caviar & Bananas with her husband Kris, leads branding and retail arms of the company. Each location reflects her taste for fresh, healthy, and elevated fast casual food, and a keen eye for detail, art, and design. Warnock oversees all communication and branding, including building content, managing social media, empowering the team to be brand advocates and storytellers, and executing marketing campaigns for each of the five locations.
Prior to Caviar & Bananas, Furniss was an account director at Arnell Group (Omnicom Group), a New York City based brand creation and marketing firm, where she headed accounts such as G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time), spearheading the creation of the brand from the ground up. She also managed marketing for General Nutrition Centers (GNC), where she helped conceptualize and execute the company’s re-branding, marketing and promotions. Warnock, who also worked at Arnell Group, managed Reebok’s domestic and international brands; she also has experience in-house with NBA Entertainment, as an independent business owner, as associate director for Philanthropy for Historic Charleston Foundation, and on the AT&T and The Denver Post accounts at Bradley Reid + Associates in Anchorage, AK.
Collaborators & Cocktails starts with networking at 5 p.m., with the presentation and Q&A session at 5:45 p.m. The event is free to all Endeavor members and corporate members, with a limited number of advance purchased guest tickets available for $30.
