Cresswind at The Ponds reveals 12,000 square foot, $6.5 million clubhouse during grand opening party

May 10, 2016

On Saturday, May 21, 2016, from 11 a.m. — 3 p.m., Cresswind at The Ponds invites people to join them for a party to celebrate the grand opening of The Club at Cresswind. The event includes culinary demonstrations, fitness and yoga mini-classes, a featured artist and entertainment from the Ocean Drive Party Band. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend.

The Club, located at 500 Hundred Oaks Parkway, Summerville, SC, is the center of life at Cresswind, an active adult, single-family home community, focused on three pillars of life at Cresswind: Fitness, Wellness, and Relationships.

Featured in the art studio during the event will be South Carolina’s Verner Award winning artist, Mary Edna Fraser, who will discuss her painting technique. In the demonstration kitchen, Culinary Health Solutions founder Ken Immer shows how to eat foods you love while improving your health, and cookbook author and chef Holly Herrick will share how to prepare her tasty Deep Purple Cherry and Blackberry Milkshakes. Mini yoga classes led by Amy Robeson will be held in the yoga room.

Guests can explore the 12,000 square foot Club at Cresswind’s activity areas including the aerobics and yoga studio, arts and crafts room, social ballroom, party room and a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen. The clubhouse opens out onto a landscaped garden leading to the zero entry pool, an event lawn, pickleball courts, amphitheater and pavilion, bocce and horseshoe courts as well as a fire pit and outdoor grilling area.

In addition, the eight model homes in Cresswind at The Ponds will be open for tours during the event.
