July 2, 2018

Integrated communications firm, now in its eighth year, develops key positions to prepare for growth

Flock and Rally, the women-owned integrated communications firm based in Columbia, S.C., has added two key, upper-level positions. Merritt McNeely, former marketing director for the South Carolina State Museum, has joined the team as vice president of marketing, and Meg Stith, a Boston native and recent transplant from Washington, D.C., has joined the team as a senior integrated communications manager.

“Our team was strong already, and that’s something of which we are very proud,” says Debi Schadel, co-founding partner at Flock and Rally. “The addition of a new vice president of marketing and a senior communications manager allows us to offer even more to our clients throughout the Midlands and across the Carolinas.”

Merritt McNeely’s extensive background working in the fields of marketing, communications and organizational leadership are an asset to the Flock and Rally team, providing added value for the firm and its clients since she joined the team in April 2018. McNeely worked as the director of marketing for the South Carolina State Museum from 2013 to 2018 and was the founder and co-chair of the Total Eclipse Weekend Columbia, S.C. campaign. Prior to working for the museum, McNeely served as the executive director of the Five Points Association for eight years.

In November 2017, Meg Stith joined Flock and Rally as a senior integrated communications manager and already has brought enormous value to her projects. Stith brings years of major market experience in integrated communications strategy to Flock and Rally, with an emphasis in brand and social media strategies. A graduate of Boston College with dual degrees in communications and elementary education, Stith is an esteemed marketing professional with more than eight years of professional experience.

Along with the new staff, existing staff members Rachel Carter, Ashley Cady and Hailey Covell have taken on new challenges, clients and roles as the company grows.
