Gary Pickren wins 2017 Closing Attorney of the Year

The law firm of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline, LLC announced Gary Pickren has won the REGAL award for 2017 Closing Attorney of the Year. The award was presented at the 29th Annual REGAL Awards by the Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina (BIA). Pickren previously won the award in 2014 and 2012.
About Gary Pickren
Since 1995, Gary Pickren has performed real estate closings, taught real estate agents, and advocated for all South Carolinians in changing the state’s real estate laws. He is very active in the real estate industry, having taught continuing education to thousands of real estate agents on topics such as contracts, agency, disclosure, and ethics. Pickren assisted in the writing of the real estate contract used in the Midlands since 2007. He also successfully argued before the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, seeking a rewrite of the controversial Seller Disclosure form; he later served on the task force that rewrote the disclosure form. He is also a licensed real estate broker.
