Greater Lexington Chamber becomes Carolinas Accredited Chamber

November 13, 2014

LEXINGTON, SC – The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center received the designation of Carolinas Accredited Chamber by The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) at their Annual Management Conference in Greenville on October 30.

The CACCE Carolinas Accredited Chamber program sets standards of excellence for chambers in North and South Carolina. It recognizes chambers that have met those standards while offering guidelines for others to improve their effectiveness. The program follows the U.S. Chamber model, and it shows that a chamber has gone through a detailed analysis of what and where they are as an organization.

“We’re dedicated to our members and pride ourselves in helping them effectively grow their business,” said President and CEO Randy Halfacre. “It’s an honor to know that our standards and practices here in Lexington have been recognized and applauded by chamber executives throughout the Carolinas.”
Eight chambers of commerce were honored as the recipients of this prestigious designation for 2014.
The group joins nine chambers that were recognized in 2013, bringing the total number of Carolinas Accredited Chambers to 17.

CACCE is the professional development organization dedicated to improving the educational opportunities for chamber of commerce executives and staff members in North and South Carolina. CACCE equips chamber of commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers. The organization was formed in 1994 when the North and South Carolina state chamber associations merged.
