LS3P congratulates CFO Doug Snyder, Charleston CFO Council Award Winner

LS3P congratulates CFO Doug Snyder, CPA, CGMA, on being named “2018 CFO of the Year” by the Charleston CFO Council in the Large Company category. Snyder was recognized for his exemplary leadership in strategy, innovation, and growth and achieved the distinction of being the Charleston CFO Council’s first two-time award winner. His previous award was 2016 CFO of the Year in the Small Company category for his work with Doug Snyder CPA-Virtual CFO, through which he provided accounting and tax services throughout South Carolina for diverse clients such as law firms, small businesses, and nonprofits. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for a statewide nonprofit, and as an auditing manager for a global CPA firm.
Snyder, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Citadel, is also an Emeritus Member and Past Board Chair of The Citadel Board of Visitors. His professional and community outreach includes service on the Board of Directors of Together SC (Treasurer); SunTrust-Lowcountry SC Advisory Board; the Board of Directors of Palmetto Goodwill; the American Institute of CPAs (national CPA Ambassador). The South Carolina Association of CPAs named Snyder as one of the top 100 influential CPAs in South Carolina in the last century.
