July 25, 2017

McNair attorney Wm. Grayson Lambert has been appointed to serve on the Advisory Committee on Rules and Procedures for the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

The Advisory Committee is charged with making recommendations to the Court concerning its local rules and internal operating procedures and on advising the Court concerning all proposed changes to them. The Committee consists of five attorneys, one from each of the states constituting the Fourth Circuit, and its members are appointed by the Chief Judge for three-year terms.

“I am truly honored to have been recommended by the Fourth Circuit’s South Carolina judges to be part of this Committee. I look forward to working with the other members of the Committee, and I am confident we can provide helpful insights,” said Lambert.

Lambert is an associate in the Firm’s litigation practice group and assists individual and corporate clients with complex commercial litigation, appeals, and government investigations. After law school, Lambert clerked for the Honorable Dennis W. Shedd on the U.S. Court of Appeals of the Fourth Circuit.
