Miller-Valentine Construction completes construction on third Midway Logistics industrial building

November 26, 2018

Midway Logistics III, a 200,000 square foot speculative building in the Lexington County Industrial Park (LCIP) is a tilt-up, hard wall multi-tenant building designed for Class “A” distribution and light manufacturing tenants. The facility features a clear height of 30’, energy-efficient LED lighting, and an ESFR sprinkler system. It also includes 21 dock doors, two drive-ins, and entries for tenant offices. The site was designed to allow for a shared dock truck court to support a future distribution facility on the adjacent lot.

Magnus Development Partners, the project’s developer, selected Miller-Valentine Construction as its design/build contractor based on the company’s experience with designing and building spec buildings.

The 350-acre park is also home to Husqvarna and JanPak, which occupy Midway Logistics I, Midway Logistics II as well as Home Depot and Republic National Distributing Co.

Scholastic Book Fairs, a provider of books and educational materials, is the anchor tenant. Garden State Lumber Corporation has leased the remaining 170,000 square feet of space in the building.
