COLUMBIA, S.C. – Northeast Presbyterian Church (NEPC) will host the NO REGRETS Men’s Conference, an annual Christian men’s day-long conference featuring live worship, a teleconference program with top-tier Christian leadership speakers, small group session opportunities, breakfast and lunch, Sat., Feb. 2, 2019.
Aimed at building spiritual male leaders, the conference goals include creating a greater awareness of the value of stewardship, developing practical leadership, and leading men as a group – and as individuals – toward a greater Kingdom perspective.

“Beyond that, we want to equip disciples who will in-turn equip others for the glory of God and the benefit of the local church,” says Josh Desch, pastor of Community and Discipleship at NEPC. “The conference will help men take their next step in their journey with Christ, challenging them to become stronger leaders in their homes, work and community.”
Joshua Wheeler, a men’s ministries leader at NEPC, agrees.
“This annual conference, which started 24 years ago, gives NEPC access to world-class speakers who tackle relevant issues for today’s men while allowing NEPC to be wise stewards with their resources,” says Wheeler. “The conference also gives NEPC men an opportunity to use their spiritual gifts for Christ’s Kingdom by inviting nonbelievers and the unchurched, and serving other local churches who are trying to do the same.”
Pastor Desch adds, “This conference will give men a Kingdom vision, allowing them to better understand that they are members of something so much bigger and greater: a universal mission to unite everything under the Lordship of Christ.”
Desch, Wheeler, and NEPC are hoping the conference will become a catalyst that will strengthen unity among local churches and will further enable area churches to take their men’s ministries to the next level. “Eventually other churches will catch the vision, and the conference will need to be hosted by a variety of churches across the Midlands,” says Desch. “We take men’s ministries seriously here at NEPC, and we want other churches to do the same with their own men’s programs.”
Among the live-feed teleconference speakers are best-selling evangelical author and pastor Gordon MacDonald.
NEPC is located at 601 Polo Road in northeast Columbia.
The NO REGRETS conference begins at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast and fellowship in the Grand Hall at NEPC. For more information and registration, please visit https://nepresbyterian.org/men/.
