Quackenbush Architect Robyn Rogers Named to The State’s 2019 “20 Under 40” Class
March 22, 2019Robyn Fisher Rogers, AIA, LEED Green Associate Architect at Quackenbush Architects + Planners, has been named by The State newspaper to its “20 Under 40” class for 2019, for her accomplishments as a young professional in the Midlands. The annual program, now in its 16th year, recognizes area leaders under the age of 40 who are making a professional and personal difference in their communities.
A licensed architect since 2011 and a Columbia native, Rogers says the honor is especially significant because it recognizes her contributions to a community she has grown up in. “Being a part of the Midlands’ transformation, and seeing people live and work in spaces I’ve helped develop in my hometown, is incredibly rewarding,” she says.
“Robyn’s skills and insights are truly remarkable, clients enjoy working with her, and we’re fortunate to have her leading some of the firm’s major projects,” says Q+ principal and founder Doug Quackenbush.
As project architect, Rogers has had a significant role on several Q+ projects, including the USC Long Family Football Operations Center, USC’s Center for Health and Well-Being, and the Lexington County Baseball Stadium. She is currently leading the team on Richland School District One’s Rosewood Elementary Library Addition, Charleston County School’s James Island Charter High School CTE and Competition Gym Additions, as well as on Furman University’s Men’s Lacrosse Locker Room Renovations.
