South Carolina Federal Credit Union to present the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in Charleston, SC

The Alzheimer’s Association announced South Carolina Federal Credit Union as the presenting sponsor of the Charleston Walk to End Alzheimer’s®. With this new support, the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s is on course to raise a record amount of funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs.

“We are proud to welcome South Carolina Federal Credit Union as our 2016 Charleston Walk to End Alzheimer’s presenting sponsor,” said Cindy Alewine, President & CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association South Carolina Chapter. “Not only are they giving at the highest level of financial support, their employees are also passionately donating time and energy towards making this year’s walk the best yet.”

Funds raised by Walk to End Alzheimer’s provide support services, education and research through the Alzheimer’s Association. Alzheimer’s is the nation’s sixth-leading cause of death, with 84,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease in South Carolina alone.
