Taylor Named Greenville Area Development Corporation PR and social media intern for summer 2018
May 15, 2018The Greenville Area Development Corporation has named Abbie Taylor as the economic development organization’s Public Relations and Social Media Intern for Summer 2018.
A resident of Greenville, Abbie attended JL Mann High School before attending Clemson University. Currently a junior, Abbie is majoring in Management with a Travel and Tourism minor, and is projected to graduate in May 2020.
During her time at Clemson, she has served on multiple committees in her sorority. She also works as a Peer Assisted Learning Leader in accounting, where she tutors and holds study sessions and learning activities for students enrolled in accounting classes. She intends to study abroad during spring 2019 while participating in Semester at Sea.
“An active social media effort is a key component of a successful web presence,” said Kevin Landmesser, GADC Senior Vice President. “As we build on a growing awareness of both Greenville and the GADC, her work will be vital to our continued success. We’re very excited to have her join us.”
