TD Bank names David Chapman and Marcel Summermatter Senior Relationship Managers

Accomplished Commercial Banking Executives to Lead Upstate Team
TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named David Chapman and Marcel Summermatter as Senior Relationship Managers. Chapman and Summermatter will serve the Upstate, S.C. market.
As Senior Relationship Managers, Chapman and Summermatter are responsible for enhancing existing commercial client relationships by providing financial solutions, expertise and proactive advice, as well as developing new relationships focused on TD Bank’s legendary client service methods. Through engagement in civic and philanthropic initiatives, they will be immersed in various facets of the Upstate community.

Chapman has more than 16 years of experience as a banking professional, with expertise in treasury management, financial analysis, research, credit management and long-term business planning and execution. He joins TD Bank after a decade with Bank of America Merrill Lynch. A former United States Air Force officer, Chapman earned a Master of Business Administration from the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business, Belmont College, and is a graduate of Austin Peay State University.
With more than 15 years in the banking industry, Summermatter rejoins the TD Bank team after most recently serving Professional Bank in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, as Market Manager where he led both commercial and retail teams. His prior experience with TD Bank includes five years in the Ft. Lauderdale market as a Commercial Banking Vice President and Business Banking Team Lead. Summermatter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Walsh College.
