Touchpoint Communications snags “ Best Public Relations” at 2017 Spark! Awards

Touchpoint Communications, an 11-year-old public relations and media strategy company based in Charleston, won “Best Public Relations” for its work on Charleston Fashion Week in 2016 at the American Marketing Association (AMA) Spark! Awards. The awards reception took place on March 9, 2017 at Harborside East in Mount Pleasant.

Touchpoint was recognized for its work on the 10th anniversary of Charleston Fashion Week. PR efforts resulted in a cover story and four-page spread in The Post and Courier’s Charleston Scene and stories on featured emerging designers in their hometown newspapers.

Hosted by the AMA Charleston chapter, the Spark! Awards showcase and honor marketing, public relations, and creative professionals for their outstanding work from the past year.

For Charleston Fashion Week, Touchpoint garnered national, regional and local media attention with a total digital reach of 131 million and total print circulation of 580,000, converting to a value of more than $1 million.

Touchpoint has won a Spark! Award the past four years, in the categories of “Best Event Marketing”, “Best Public Relations Campaign” and “Best Special Event Integrated Campaign”.
