Turner Padget’s Mike Chase to Speak at State Conference

HILTON HEAD, SC – Turner Padget Graham & Laney P.A. announce that Mike Chase will speak at the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association (SCWCEA) annual education conference in Hilton Head, S.C. Chase will lead a panel discussing workers’ compensation on Oct 13, 2014. He chairs Turner Padget’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, part of the firm’s Workplace Law Group.
Chase’s panel is part of a professional tracks section of the conference that is targeted toward employers. The issues discussed will include employers’ responsibility in a workers’ compensation claim, miscommunications in the handling of a workers’ compensation claim and updated workers’ compensation laws. Also participating in the panel are Lucinda Fountain, Honda of S.C. Manufacturing, Inc. and Joanie Winters, Esq., Winters Law Firm.
The SCWCEA Education Conference is designed to reinforce and enhance knowledge of the South Carolina workers’ compensation system. The conference will feature presentations on a range of legal issues, cases and trends within the operation, and regulation of local government activities.
