Downtown Transportation Master Plan underway

July 10, 2019

The City, in partnership with the Greenville-Pickens Area Transportation Study, is developing a Downtown Transportation Master Plan to identify strategies that will improve mobility, traffic circulation and safety. The public is invited to provide input for the project at a meeting scheduled:

Tuesday, July 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
City Hall, First Floor Conference Room
206 S. Main St.

At the meeting, the project team will provide an overview of the project, discuss the work that has been done to-date and provide attendees with an opportunity to share their experiences and ideas.

Participate in the Transportation Survey

The team also has developed a short questionnaire designed to help them better understand how people travel to, from and around downtown, and make recommendations for short- and long-term transportation improvement projects. The questionnaire is available online at https://publicinput.com/DowntownTraffic, and the deadline to participate is July 23.

Anyone who lives and/or works downtown, as well as anyone who visits downtown, is invited and encouraged to attend the meeting and to complete the survey.
