Kara Johnson & Rex Ann Strecker join United Community Mortgage Services
August 26, 2019United Community Mortgage Services welcomed Rex Ann Strecker as a Senior Loan Officer and Kara Johnson as a Mortgage Loan Originator to its Coastal South Carolina team. The two have worked together in the past and will now utilize United’s products and services to help clients seeking homeownership in the Charleston area.

Strecker has been serving the Charleston market for more than two decades. She has been employed by a number of local lending companies and is well-versed in working with first- and second-time homebuyers, investment properties and 1031 tax exchanges. Strecker received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University. In the community, she has been involved with the Charleston Animal Society, Meals on Wheels and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Strecker will be supported by Johnson who is experienced in wealth management and planning, technology and software. Most recently, Johnson served as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Fidelity Bank where she heavily utilized financial services technology. She is a graduate of Charleston Southern University. In her spare time, she can be found volunteering at her son’s elementary school.
