Leah Johnson Named Director of Association Management

MPA Strategies has hired Leah Johnson as their Director of Association Management.

Johnson, a Certified Association Executive, serves as the Executive Director of the South Carolina Speech Hearing Language Association, a client of MPA Strategies. She has an extensive nonprofit background after years of serving the legal profession as the Assistant Executive Director of the South Carolina Bar. She has experience in association management, communications and public relations, and government relations.

Leah is a graduate of Leadership Columbia, the former Vice President of the National Association of Bar Executives Board of Directors, a recipient of its Peer Excellence Award and is a member of the Leadership Columbia Advisory Board.

A graduate of the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications, she lives in Irmo with her husband, Brett Macgargle, and their Dutch Shepherd, Sadie, and cat, Dee.
