New office building on Coleman Blvd. completed by Mashburn Construction

Mt. Pleasant residents will recognize a fresh, and newly completed building at 736 Coleman Boulevard. At just under 20,000 SF, this three-story mixed-use retail and office building was built for Beach Coleman Central, LLC, an affiliate of The Beach Company. The previously vacant lot that once housed a former motel has now been revitalized for mixed-use spaces.
EE Fava Architects designed the building fronting the highly trafficked area of Mt. Pleasant. Exterior features include nearly 30% of glass storefront or curtain wall systems. The building was constructed out of structural steel and metal stud framing with stucco and tongue and groove artisan Hardie plank and metal panels. The building includes 20 parking spaces with concrete sidewalks, custom planter boxes, and elaborate exterior cornices. On the second and third floors, some executive office space is available for lease through The Beach Company.

The project that was once just a core and shell was upfitted by Mashburn Construction to complete some of the interior spaces. Through separate contracts, Mashburn completed multiple jobs on a tight timeline. Beach Residential, the residential sales division of The Beach Company, occupies approximately 2,000 SF of the second floor including 7 offices, a conference room, co-working space, and a kitchenette. The design has glass work as a focal point with modern, clean features along with shiplap walls in the kitchen area.
