J. Davis Construction begins repurposing a place of worship for ONE Church in Seneca, SC

On August 19, 2019, J. Davis Construction began repurposing a building in Downtown Historic Seneca, SC for ONE Church.
Helping ONE Church improve the building’s functionality, the 6,400 sq. ft. renovation entails
reforming the Worship Center, lobby, restrooms, and office spaces. While ONE Church is undergoing the renovations, community members will meet at Seneca High School.
Knowing high quality renovations were necessary in order to enhance religious activities, Pastor Brad Martin reached out to multiple general contractors. He commented, “J. Davis stood out from the others due to their team of knowledgeable and personable people.” He added, “Joel has a Christ centered business that shows in the way he conducts business.”
Excited for the start of the project, the ONE Church community wrote notes on the building’s frame in order to capture the project’s meaning. Assistant Project Manager, Jordan Jeffcoat reflected, “We want this building to feel like theirs from the ground up. We love seeing the community excited. It’s great to be a part of something that impacts so many people.”
The project is expected to be completed Mid-December.
