Spartanburg Water announces new hire in Financial Services

Spartanburg Water is pleased to announce the addition of Heather Kerr to the position of Accounting Supervisor for the Financial Services Department. In her new role, Heather will handle financial and cost accounting responsibilities, along with supervisory responsibility for Accounts Payable and Payroll. Her role will also encompass preparation of the monthly financial statements, and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

Heather has 10 years of experience in the accounting field, including five years at Milliken & Co. and most recently with Ushers Machine and Tool Co., Inc. in Greenville, SC.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from the University of South Carolina Upstate, in Spartanburg.
