Paul Davis Restoration honors women in the workplace during Women’s History Month

Many of the women work in non-traditional jobs at the franchise office and contribute to the history of successful women in the restoration labor force. Women’s History Month has its origins as a national celebration beginning in 1981. Congress passed a public law that authorized and requested the President to proclaim the week beginning on March 7 as “Women’s History Week.” In 1987, after being petitioned by the National Women’s History Project, another public law was passed which designated the month of March as “Women’s History Month.” The initiative amplifies women’s voices to honor the past, inform the present and inspire the future.
