Emergency Senior Nutrition Meal Distribution schedule for Friday, April 3

April 2, 2020

Providing Free Meals to all Richland County Senior Citizens

Any senior citizen (60+) or a caregiver of a senior citizen in Richland County that did not already pick up their five free meals through our Emergency Senior Nutrition Program on Monday and Wednesday, are encouraged to drive-thru one of our four distribution locations this Friday, April 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Due to the growing concern about the spread of COVID-19 in our community, there is a high demand for our Emergency Senior Nutrition Program amongst senior citizens.  For those individuals or caregivers coming to pick-up meals, please remember that this is a first-come-first serve basis, and once all of the meals that were prepared for that site have been distributed, the distribution site will close for the day.

There are specific requirements that must be met to receive these services.  To receive the meal pack, you must be a senior citizen (60+) or picking up a meal to take to a senior citizen.  All meal recipients must show a state issued id and provide a name, address and phone number at pick-up.  Only one meal pack is allowed per person with a maximum of two meal packs per car.  Individuals are only permitted one pick-up per week.

Please continue to refer to our website: www.seniorresourcesinc.org for the most up-to-date information on distribution locations.  Individuals without internet service can call the United Way helpline (2-1-1) for the latest on meal pick-up locations.
