Sylvan Learning Centers in the Upstate shift to E-Learning

Students and parents in Anderson, Spartanburg and Greenville counties struggling with no physical schools have a new support system.
The Sylvan Learning Centers in the Upstate are now offering all tutoring programs online.
This service will be available for all existing Sylvan Learning families as well as those who have had their educational life turned upside down with the closure of our schools because of COVID-19, said Amy Gardner, the franchise owner for Sylvan Learning in the Upstate.
“Because Sylvan is known for its teacher-led personalized tutoring through our proprietary technology we call SylvanSync, we were able to quickly pivot to live teacher-led online virtual learning. We had to shift from physical to online to protect the safety of our students and teachers,” she said.
Sylvan Learning works with students looking to get better grades; get ahead; learn new study skills; work through complex problems and prepare for the SAT and ACT with credentialed local teachers who can give them the individual attention they need. This is typically done in a learning center, but now is available online.
