What: Scribble Season 2 Launch Party
The concept for Scribble started with a mission to better understand the core needs of successful innovators within the state. With feedback from the Council for Innovation Initiatives and the community, Scribble has evolved into a platform and media resource using videos, podcasting and contributing content to shine a spotlight on our brightest and most creative industry leaders. Season One featured a cohort of 14 innovators throughout South Carolina in a wide range of industries, including but not limited to research, manufacturing, engineering, technology, and consumer products. Through inspirational sessions showcasing their stories, advice, and hardships, these innovators taught us key lessons and helped humanize the innovation ecosystem that exists in the state.
The launch of Season Two celebrates 8 new innovation leaders and continues to dive deeper in topics like company culture, intellectual property, applied research, product development and creative design. On August 19, Scribble is hosting a Season Two Launch Party and Virtual Happy Hour celebration that will bring the community together, virtually, to reflect on past learnings and introduce our newest Scribble features. The keynote speaker, Mark Kaiser, has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions (M&A) that includes the identification, evaluation, acquisition and integration of over 100 companies. He has deep knowledge of how a programmatic acquisition program can reliably deliver significant growth. In addition to the keynote, the event will recap Season One learnings, introduce the Season Two cast, and end with interactive breakout sessions. These sessions will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to e-network and mingle with recognized innovation leaders and have a platform to ask questions, learn their tips and tricks of the trade, and of course, have fun!
