Fallen Officer Memorial Ride Scheduled for October 18th

September 21, 2020

Now in its 9th year, the Deputy Roger Rice Ride on Fund will host the Annual Fallen Officer Memorial Ride on October 18th.   Registration for the ride and all other events will take place at Destination Powersports located at 23165 Highway 76 in Clinton.

“The event has grown each year,” said Anthony Furino, Executive Director of the Deputy Roger Rice Ride on Fund.  “Last year we had around 200 bikes participate in the ride and a large crowd come out to enjoy music, food, raffles, an auction and much more.  This is a family-oriented event with something for everyone.”

All proceeds from the event are used by the Deputy Roger Rice Ride on Fund to support first responders or their families who have fallen on hard times or tragically lost their lives while working to keep our community safe.

“The work we do helps to honor the life of my son, Roger Rice Jr.,” said Roger Rice, Sr., founder of the fund.  “He loved his work and we appreciate all who work in a role of public safety.”

Registration begins at 12:00 and the ride starts at 2:00 p.m. All other festivities start at noon and going until 6:00 p.m.
