Community Spotlight – Sean Powers, The Front Coffee & Tap

The Front Coffee & Tap officially opened in Columbia on May 11, 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic. They serve coffee, tea, beer, and wine, as well as locally sourced pastries and to-go meals. The Front Coffee & Tap is open seven days a week.
Sean is looking to create a place for people to gather, connect, and appreciate our community – in Canalside, Columbia, and beyond. Canalside is a development project by The Beach Company out of Charleston, SC.
Every Thursday night, The Front Coffee & Tap hosts Jazz on the River. Join them for $1 off beer and wine from 5:00 to 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday.
Sean is a 2019 graduate of the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.
