Hilton Head Island MLS hosting industry leaders for virtual symposium

Some of the biggest names in the real estate industry will be speaking to Hilton Head Island MLS members in the annual Real Estate Tech Symposium on October 21. The annual symposium will be held virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making it easier than ever to participate.
The symposium is a free, one-day learning event designed to bring the latest technology, trends, and tactics from the biggest names in the industry to HHIMLS members. This year’s theme is, “Pivot With Power.”
“This year has been challenging as agents have had to pivot the way they do business in real time,” said Colette Stevenson, chief executive officer, Hilton Head Island MLS. “However, with the challenges have come new opportunities as our market has experienced a surge in demand from buyers looking to relocate from more dense areas in search of more square footage and space for a home office. This symposium is designed to help further propel the market and make sure we are giving our members every tool they need to grow their business and serve their clients in this new normal.”
The event will be headlined by Santiago Arana, who will serve as the keynote speaker. Arana is a principal with The Agency RE in Los Angeles, C.A., who has closed billions of dollars worth of real estate specializing in high-end residential real estate and new construction in L.A.’s most coveted neighborhoods. In 2019, he represented the top one half of one percent of more than one million REALTORS® nationwide by ranking number eight in the country.
In addition to the keynote address, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders including Bob Hale, president and ceo, Houston Association of Realtors as well as from executives with Zillow Group, Homes.com, Rate My Agent and more.
