December 15, 2020

Synovus announced the appointment of Reid Boehm as South Coastal Region market executive, effective January 1. Boehm succeeds Tyre Moore, who will retire from Synovus at year-end after 14 years with the bank.

“Reid is an outstanding banker with a strong commitment to serving customers and communities in Charleston and the Lowcountry,” said Chuck Garnett, South Carolina division CEO. “Although Tyre will be missed following a well-earned retirement, team members and customers will be in great hands with Reid.”

Boehm joined Synovus in 2013 after graduating from Auburn University, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Management. He was previously vice president/commercial banker, with responsibility for commercial and industrial customers in the coastal region.

Boehm currently serves on the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors,  American Heart Association Executive Leadership Committee, and the South Carolina Young Bankers Association Board of Directors. He is also a Class of 2019 graduate of Leadership Charleston.
