Kelley Is Apparent Choice as PC Football Coach

On Friday at 2 p.m., Presbyterian College will apparently name a high school coach with radical views on offensive tactics as successor to Tommy Spangler, who was fired after the spring football season.

Kevin Kelley of Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, Ark., has won nine state championships. In most cases, Kelley believes in neither punts, punt returns nor deep kickoffs.

The announcement is to be made on the mezzanine level of Bailey Memorial Stadium.
