Calling Young Artists in Laurens!

Laurens County Mayor Nathan Senn recently announced a call for art submissions.
The Mayor’s office is where meetings with elected officials, city leaders and those looking to do business in our town are held. According to Mayor Senn the walls could use some fresh artwork.
“We have some very talented young people and I look forward to showcasing some of their artwork in the Mayor’s office,” said Senn. “I hope we have many submissions and that we can continue this opportunity to showcase their work in the future.”
Artists who are 25 years of age or younger are invited to submit entries for consideration. All entries must be original works and have some relation to the city of Laurens or Laurens County.
The winner of the selected artwork will receive $200, and their artwork will hang in the Mayor’s office for one year. For addition information, please visit city hall
The forms for submissions can be picked up at City Hall. Entries are due on August 9th.
