Chernoff Newman adds to media and finance teams

Chernoff Newman, a Columbia-based integrated communications company, has recently expanded its core team to include new hires Becky Elam and Santana McIntosh.

Becky and Santana will play critical roles, both internally and client-facing, in delivering these campaigns and serving our clients.”
Elam, a Converse College graduate, will be joining the firm’s media team. Elam brings with her a wealth of media experience and a background in digital marketing. As a media buyer, Elam will be responsible for creating and executing buys across all platforms while assisting with campaign budget management and optimizations. In addition, her role includes developing tracking and analytic reports and presenting campaign insights and performance recommendations.
The agency’s new financial coordinator, McIntosh, is a graduate of Claflin University and working toward her master’s in accounting at Southern New Hampshire University. For nearly a decade, McIntosh worked with the Babcock Center in Columbia, S.C., on the account receivable team. In her new role, McIntosh will be reviewing monthly budgets, processing client invoices and aligning client budgets as well as being responsible for accounts payable and maintenance of financial transactions through reconciliation.
