Greenville Chamber announces launch of Catalyst, new leadership development program

June 7, 2021

The Greenville Chamber is adding a new program to its portfolio of leadership development offerings. Catalyst, presented by Michelin, is an 8-week program designed to develop the leadership skills of participants. The program will begin in August.

Whereas the Chamber’s other leadership development programs have historically focused on building leadership capacity by taking an intensive look into the needs of the community, Catalyst will take a deeper approach by focusing on the needs of the individual through practical leadership techniques and training.

“Supporting the development of emerging professionals is key to our community’s efforts to attract and retain top talent,” said Greenville Chamber President/CEO, Carlos Phillips.

While undergoing the 8-part course, participants will have the opportunity to apply their learnings to real-life professional projects. Topics covered will include building personal productivity, controlling priorities and identifying behavioral changes, communicating more effectively, becoming a better team player, and developing high performance teams.

The program runs from August 16th until November 22nd and is $1,695 per person.
