City of Clinton – There’s an App for That!

Gone are the days of AAA Triptik Planners. Now there are online map apps and more.
Distrx is an app that was created for Main Street communities to help promote local businesses, parking, events and tours in the community, however it is now a nationwide FREE app for all communities to utilize. The Distrx app is FREE to communities, the businesses, and the end user.
Main Street Clinton, first began looking at the app when the Bronze Ticket Tour was being organized, and now they have added events to the app as well. Many businesses have listings on the site, and all City of Clinton businesses are encouraged to utilize the app and communicate with customers via the app. Each business is in control of their own content and can change it as often as they would like.
Main Street Clinton has uploaded all of the event information for Rhythm on the Rails. The public is encouraged to download the app for all vendor locations, schedule of events, as well as changes, announcements or emergency information.
Currently Main Street Clinton is one of the few local communities to actively promote the free app and the conveniences it provides. Hopefully more communities will come on board and bring all the best of Laurens County to the app.
