Red Devils Roll Dice and Advance

Clinton, trailing by two touchdowns in the 1st half, came off the deck to upend Lower Richland and advance to the Upstate football semifinals in Class 3A with a 48-34 victory over Lower Richland.

The game turned on a bold fake punt that Davis Wilson and Justin Copeland into a 42-yard touchdown pass in the 4th quarter that broke a 34-34 tie. Jishon Copeland and Bryson James each scored three touchdowns.

The Red Devils (11-1) visit reigning state champion Daniel (12-0) next week.
