Matthew T.S. McFadden receives Certified Portfolio Manager® designation

Morgan Stanley announced today that Matthew T.S. McFadden, a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor in the Firm’s Columbia, S.C. office has earned the Certified Portfolio Manager (CPM®) designation from the Academy of Certified Portfolio Managers (ACPM), by completing the CPM® program.
Mr. McFadden earned the CPM® designation after completing extensive coursework and examination, followed by a five-day seminar at Columbia University, which included sessions with internationally recognized professors. The CPM® curriculum involves in-depth study of fundamental analysis, option valuation, foreign currency exchange, credit default swap structure and valuation analysis, and asset allocation.
Working with Consulting Group, the investment advisory arm of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, which provides access to a range of investment strategies and services, financial advisors develop and manage portfolios personalized to suit the specific needs of their clients.
