American Legion Post 25 Partners with Local Businesses to Make Christmas Brighter for Those in Need
December 15, 2021Christmas will be a little brighter for some local children thanks to the efforts of American Legion Post 25, Palmetto Brothers Dispensary, the Laurens Raiders and a very generous community.
American Legion Post 25 is known for their acts of service in the community throughout the year and their efforts to help families in need at Christmas is a major priority.  This year they amped up their efforts by joining forces with Palmetto Brothers Dispensary, and the Laurens Raiders to collect toys and raise money to buy  presents for needy families this Christmas.
On Tuesday, Post 25 delivered a check to Laurens City Hall in the amount of $1,000 to support the Laurens Police Department toy drive, along with a large  haul of toys and goodies!
“It warms my heart to know that we have so many in our community that care for others,” said Mayor Nathan Senn. Â “We are grateful for Post 25 and other businesses for coming together to make Christmas happen for those in need.”
