Richland County Bar announces leadership for 2022

The Richland County Bar Association (RCBA) has announced its new leadership for 2022 following formal confirmation at the association’s December 2021 meeting. The RCBA is one of the largest county bars in South Carolina, serving nearly 2,000 attorneys living and working in Richland County. Walter H. Cartin, Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP will serve as the RCBA’s president. Joining Cartin as officers will be S. Harrison Saunders VI as president-elect and Claude T. Prevost III, Collins & Lacy, PC as treasurer.

Returning members of the RCBA Executive Committee are Michael J. Polk, Belser & Belser, PA; Derrick L. Williams, Mickle & Bass, LLC, and immediate past president Ashley C. Story, White & Story, LLC who was honored for her exemplary leadership during the past year. Past President Charles F. Moore, Turner Padget Graham & Laney, PA was also recognized for his outstanding board service in 2020. Shannon F. Bobertz, SC Department of Natural Resources was elected as the newest member of the Executive Committee.
