LCSD 56 Announces Change in Covid-19 Protocols

On Tuesday, March 1st, Laurens County School District 56 announced changes to the Covid-19 protocols.

The changes include:

• Students and staff are no longer expected to wear masks on school buses
• District 56 is no longer quarantining staff or students who are close contacts
• Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 are still required to isolate at home for 5 days and wear a mask on days 6-10
• Everyone is asked to continue to report student and staff positive COVID cases to the school nurse.
