March 18, 2022

Chernoff Newman, a leading integrated marketing communications firm based in the Carolinas, has promoted three senior-level employees after another year of continued growth. The well-established agency, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has offices in Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Orlando, Florida.

Trevor Baker and Elizabeth Prim will be stepping into their new roles of associate creative director and Danielle Salley as associate interactive director. All three have long-standing careers with Chernoff Newman, with nearly 40 years combined with the agency.

“We are excited to see the continued growth of Trevor, Elizabeth, and Danielle as they evolve into leadership positions. They have been leaders in the agency for years and we are happy to see their roles expanding,” said David Campbell, COO and vice chairman.

Trevor Baker has more than 25 years of agency experience and will oversee the agency’s growing creative team and copywriters. His career began at Chernoff Newman, formerly Chernoff Silver, before he moved on to work with global agencies including Dark Grey in the Netherlands and BBDO in Berlin. He rejoined the Chernoff Newman team in 2011 as a senior copywriter and his work has earned nearly 200 national, regional and local industry awards, which range from integrated advertising campaigns to print, outdoor, radio and digital, as well as content creation for websites and social media.

Elizabeth Rogers Prim has been on the Chernoff Newman team for more than 15 years, most recently in the role of senior art director. As an associate creative director, Prim will lead the firm’s creative and design team. She has nearly two decades of experience creating strategic advertising and designing content for a wide range of clients. Prim’s expertise has landed over 100 awards including national and international recognition. She is an involved board member of the Trident United Way, in Charleston, where she serves as the marketing and communications chair.

Danielle Salley joined Chernoff Newman in 2013 as an interactive design/developer and will oversee the agency’s interactive team as well as the development, implementation, and execution of client websites in her new role. She has more than 15 years of experience in design and front-end development. Her commitment to the field shows through her active involvement in the American Advertising Federation (AAF) where she currently serves as an executive committee member for AAF’s Council of Governors and has been recognized for her numerous contributions to the organization. Most recently, she was named National Governor of the Year for AAF District 3 and was a Silver Medal recipient for AAF Midlands.
