CARTER REALTORS announces Will Thrift is certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist

Will Thrift, a licensed real estate agent with CARTER REALTORS, recently earned certification from the National Association of REALTORS as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). In addition to a base knowledge of the REALTOR Code of Ethics, Fair Housing Laws, and Agency Representation, the SRES course and exam concentrates on age 50+ life stages as they relate to real estate choices. Certified recipients obtain the knowledge and resources to help the ever-growing 50+ market with their specific needs.
Thrift is past president of the Cottontown Neighborhood Association in Columbia. He has also been appointed by Columbia City Council to serve on the Segra Park Advisory Board (home of the Columbia Fireflies) in the Bull Street development.
Thrift was inducted into the Columbia Neighborhood Hall of Fame in 2019 at the Annual Columbia Council of Neighborhoods Banquet & Awards Ceremony. At that event, he also accepted the award for the Best Neighborhood Program, the Cottontown Art Crawl.
