Academic Magnet ranked #2 in the nation for third consecutive year

Academic Magnet High School continues to stay near the top of the U.S. News & World Report national rankings for the Best High Schools in the country. The national publication named Academic Magnet High School (AMHS) the second-best high school in the country for the third year in a row. This is the fourth consecutive year the Raptors made the top two on this list (AMHS was number one in the country in 2019).

Five schools from Charleston County School District are in the top-25 of the 2022 U.S. News and World Report rankings for South Carolina: Academic Magnet (1), Charleston County School of the Arts (2), Wando High School (5), Charleston Charter School for Math and Science (13), and James Island Charter High School (15).
