Chapin Downtown Farmer’s Market returns Saturday

The Chapin Downtown Farmer’s Market returns this Saturday, May 14, at 8:30 am in the 100 block of Clark Street in downtown Chapin. This local community event provides residents and visitors with a healthy and fun shopping alternative with local growers and artisans selling fresh produce, dairy products and meats as well as handmade items like candles, jewelry, soaps and woodcrafts.

Sponsored by the Town of Chapin, the downtown market features a variety of local vendors and entertainment for the whole family. This month’s market features talented singer Chris Reed and activities for children sponsored by the Lexington County Branch Library. For those with a sweet tooth the market will feature delicious treats from Laila’s Place.

This week’s vendors include: Heart of Chapin Yoga, 14n1 Seasonings, Mac & Me Designs, Eaddy Acres, the Swanky Blackbird, Persimmon Hill Farm, Family Practice of Chiropractic, Mt. Horeb Community Garden, Lakeside Showcase, Chapin Branch Library, Bully Bowtique, Renewal by Andersen, G& J Candles, Wayward Rabbits & more.  The market runs 8:30 am – 12:00 pm on the first Saturdays of the month through October.
